I've been using comprehension-based methods to teach language for over 20 years.
I wrote Immediate Immersion because I was not happy with the comprehension-based curricula available.
Most of it was adapted from textbooks without focusing on high-frequency vocabulary or blindly following an outdated grammar syllabus.
I built Immediate Immersion from the ground up to focus on high-frequency vocabulary while using natural language so that students acquire grammar naturally in a similar way they acquired grammar in their native language.
